Stories behind the dishes

As tasting and voting wind down, our emcee brings the room together for chef storytelling and the judges' scoring — connecting every dish back to the mission it supports.

The evening closes with the judging panel's results, a live guest vote, and the presentation of the Senior Cup to this year's champion.

2026 Judges

Four judges score this year's competition — three on the food, one on the community table decorating competition.

60 Years of Changing Lives

Serving Central Florida's seniors since 1966

Founded in 1966, Seniors First is the largest social services organization in metro Orlando, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through Meals on Wheels, in-home care, medical equipment loans, and community programs that help seniors live independently and with dignity. This year marks Seniors First’s 60th anniversary — and Senior Chef Showdown 2026 is proud to celebrate with a “Sweet 60” goal of raising $60,000, a dollar for every year of service.
